FS21 is expanding by introducing 3 new teams in addition to the current 4 in the program. New to FS21 for the Fall 2022 season is a 10u, 12u, and 14u teams.
The end of the 2022 Spring season sends our teams into the high school summer programs for 14u and Freshman teams… and into summer vacation for our younger teams. The summer is also the time to start forming rosters with the Fall 2022 season quickly approaching at conclusion of summer break.
10u & 14u Teams
The 10u and 14u teams will be led and coached by Jake Swift. Coach Jake has been teaching young players in Arizona for the last 5 years. Upon graduating from Gilbert High School in 2008, Jake attended Paradise Valley Community College where he played for the inaugural team and competed in the JUCO World Series his Sophomore year. After two seasons at PVCC, Jake committed to the Coastal Carolina University before injuring his shoulder and signing with the University of North Dakota. He currently lives in Gilbert, AZ with his wife, Nicole.
Tryouts for the 10u and 14u teams will take place on June 1 at our FS21 field. These teams will be considered the “majors” level and has limited spots available on each team for the upcoming season. To register for a tryout, visit www.FS21baseball.com/join to schedule a spot in our upcoming tryout.
12u Team
The 2022-23 new 12u team will be led and coached by Justyn St. Clair. Coach Justyn played D1 college ball at the University of Arizona and has been coaching youth for the last 10 years. He’s been a Team USA coach in California and has been a varsity coach for the last 6 years. He’s currently on the Casteel High School varsity staff and in going into his 5th season at Casteel. The 12u roster for the Fall of 2022 is already full!
With these new teams joining the FS21 program, it brings a total of 7 teams under the direction of FS21 Founder Freddy Sanchez and working directly with coaches, training them in technique, development and culture philosophies.
